Level 8

To Learn English in Grade 8 was a good experience. As a result, I think that I'm little smarter about writing in English, but also, thanks to the methods we use in this subject and the dynamism of the classes, I can conclude that the English, subject as any subject, should be taught in a practical and fun way, as this class was. Always looking for attractive and innovative way to reach students' motivation.

Finally, I Have to thank you teacher Doris, Giving us the chance to share good experiences and knowledges with you. =)

Essay: To Play An Instrument¿?

Introduction

Many studies have been conducted on the effects of music to the brain. Scientists say that children who are exposed to music, or those who play an instrument, do better in school than those who don't. Although, recent research suggests exposure to music may benefit a child's reading age and the development of certain parts of the brain. Even though, adults can benefit from learning to play an instrument too because it helps the mind to be alert and remain active eventually helping to sharpen the memory.

Paragraph 1

Learning to play an instrument is like learning to speak another language and it can be challenging at times. One of the qualities musicians possess is discipline. You have to be disciplined in order to master playing your instrument. You have to set time each day to practice, practice and practice some more.

Paragraph 2

We all have days when we are so stressed out and we just want to take a break from it all. However, have you ever noticed that when you hear soft, soothing music you feel more relaxed? Playing an instrument can do that and more, especially if you're the one playing. Music is one of life's simple joys; it helps calm the mind.

Paragraph 3

To play an instrument isn't easy at all, but it gives a sense of achievement. For example, if you're a beginner learning to play your first piece, it can be frustrating. But once you've mastered it, the satisfaction you'll feel is priceless. Never mind if it's just a simple piece, believe me you'll never forget the first piece you've mastered. Moreover, you are one more step closer to achieving your goal and that is certainly something to be proud of.

Conclution
Sure it can be a lot of hard work but there is no denying playing an instrument is fun. Therefore, once you get better at it, opportunities will arise for you to share your newly learned skill with your family and friends. Who knows, you may also consider playing professionally in the future. Hense, playing a musical instrument opens up a lot of good possibilities that will surely enrich your life. =)

Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) was born on October 2, 1869, into a Hindu family in Porbanadar, Gujarat, India.

In a country where politics was synonymous with corruption, Gandhi introduced ethics in this domain through the preaching and example. He lived in poverty without comparison, never granted privileges to his family, and always rejected political power before and after the liberation of India. This rejection became the leader of nonviolence in a unique case among the revolutionaries of all time.

The wars will continue while the color remains more important than the eye.

"The wars will continue while the color remains more important than the eye."
Bob Marley

I chose this quote because I think that sometimes people discriminate each others (Not for the skin color only) and they don't see the inside things, like feelings and stuff...
